Definition

感情や不満、驚きなどを表すために顔の表情を変えること。ふざけたり、嫌な気持ちを見せたりするときによく使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

子ども同士や親しい間柄でよく使われます。「make a funny face」は面白い顔、「make faces at someone」は誰かに向かって変顔をするという意味です。嫌な気持ちやふざけた場面で使います。
