太くて大きなナイフで、密集した草木や小枝を切るのによく使われます。主に農作業や森林で使われます。

「マチェーテ」は主に農作業やジャングルで使う大きな刃物を指し、普通の包丁とは異なります。複数形もそのまま「マチェーテ」です。
