Definition

어떤 사실이나 문제에 대해 더 자세히 알아보거나 조사하는 것. 상황이나 문제를 확인하는 데 씀.

일상적으로 많이 쓰이며, 실제로 무언가를 들여다본다는 뜻이 아니라 문제를 확인하거나 조사할 때 쓴다. 예: 'look into the matter' 등.
