顺便去看看某人，通常没有事先约定，或是快速地往里面看一下以确认情况。

主要用于英式英语的非正式场合，指短暂拜访或快速查看某处。不要和'look into'（调查）混淆。美式英语常用'drop by'或'stop in'表达相同意思。

I'm going to look in on my grandmother after school.
