다른 사람보다 자신이 더 낫다고 생각하며 무시하거나 깔보는 태도를 취하는 것.

비공식적이고 조금 오래된 느낌의 표현입니다. 주로 상대의 오만함이나 얕잡아보는 태도를 비판할 때 사용됩니다. 'look down your nose at ~'처럼 자주 쓰입니다. '깔보다', '거들먹거리다'와 비슷.
