تعبير قديم يُستخدم لتقديم شيء مفاجئ أو غير متوقع أو رائع.

تعبير قديم جداً يُستخدم غالباً في القصص أو لإضافة تأثير درامي عند الحديث. نادراً ما يُستعمل في الحديث اليومي الحديث. يوضع عادةً قبل كشف شيء مفاجئ.

I opened the box and lo and behold, there was a kitten inside!
