人々が何が起こるか分からず、危険や不快なことに抵抗せずに向かうとき、「まるで屠殺場に連れて行かれる子羊のように」と言います。これは無垢さや抵抗しない様子を表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
文学的でやや劇的な表現。深刻な場面で使い、『行く』『連れて行かれる』などの動詞とセットになることが多い。日常の些細なことには使わない。
