神や祖先に奉げるお酒、または宴会などで楽しむアルコール飲料を指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
儀式や神への献酒として使う場合は厳粛な表現、宴会で飲む意味ではユーモラスな言い方。'libationsを捧げる' は死者を敬うときに使う。
