Definition

머리를 표면에 두는 것, 보통 잠자거나 쉴 때 혹은 위로받으려 할 때 사용함. 주로 눕거나 쉴 곳을 찾는 상황에서 쓰임.

다소 정중하고 부드러운 표현. "lay your head down to rest"나 "a place to lay your head"와 같이 자주 쓰임. 은유(위로/안전 추구)나 직역 두 경우 모두에 씀. "lie your head"는 잘못된 표현임.

After a long day, all I want is a soft place to lay my head.

긴 하루 끝에 난 그저 **머리를 둘** 폭신한 곳만 있으면 돼.
