地すべりは、山の斜面などで土や岩が急に崩れ落ちる現象です。また、選挙などで圧倒的な勝利を指すこともあります。

'trigger landslides' は「地すべりを引き起こす」。複数形が多く用いられます。選挙では 'landslide victory' で「圧勝」という決まった表現があります。
