用力揮腿試圖用腳踢中某物，通常不一定真正碰到。也可表示試圖用腳踢。

通常用於描述有沒有實際踢到還不確定，'kick at the ball' 是指嘗試踢球但可能沒踢到。比單獨 'kick' 稍正式。偶爾作比喻。很少用在人身上。
