승인이나 동의를 나타내기 위해 문서에 자신의 이름 첫 글자(이니셜)를 적는 것. 보통 전체 서명 대신 활용함.

'initialled'는 계약서나 수정된 부분 등 공식문서에서 빠른 승인 또는 확인을 위해 사용됨. 'initial here' 지시문이 나오면 전체 서명 대신 이니셜만 쓰면 됨.
