কারো আচরণ, কথা বা কাজ যদি সামাজিক নিয়ম বা ভদ্রতার পরিপন্থী হয়, তাকে অশোভন বা অনুচিত বলা হয়।

সাধারণত অফিসিয়াল বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। কারো আচরণ, বক্তৃতা বা অনুষ্ঠানের প্রেক্ষাপটে ‘indecorous’ ব্যবহার করা হয়।
