تُستخدم لتقديم السبب الأهم لشيء ما أو للبدء في سرد الأفكار أو النقاط.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

شائعة في اللغة الإنجليزية المحكية والمكتوبة، وغالباً تأتي في بداية الجملة لتوضيح الأسباب. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'at first' التي تعني 'في البداية' زمنياً.
