Definition

누군가나 무언가에게 날카로운 ‘쉬익’ 소리를 내는 것. 보통 화, 불만, 경고를 나타낼 때 (뱀이나 화난 군중처럼) 사용함.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 동물(뱀, 고양이)에 사용하지만, 사람에게도 비유적으로 씀(관중의 야유 등). 공식적이거나 학술적 상황에는 사용하지 않음.
