Definition

ヘッドボードは、ベッドの頭側にある立て板やパネルで、頭をもたれる部分です。装飾や枕を支える役割もあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に木材、金属、布張りなどの素材で作られます。「木製ヘッドボード」「布張りヘッドボード」などの言い方が一般的です。フットボード（足元側）とは異なります。
