Se usa para decirle a alguien que espere un momento, o para pedir paciencia. También puede significar seguir intentando o no rendirse.

Es informal y común en conversaciones. Similar a 'hold on'. En el sentido de perseverar, suele usarse al alentar a alguien: 'hang on, you'll be fine.'
