हाथ ऊपर उठाना, आमतौर पर सिर के ऊपर, ताकि आप समूह में बोलना या सवाल पूछना चाहें।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

मुख्यतः कक्षा या बैठक में प्रयोग होता है। इसका अर्थ सचमुच हाथ उठाना या विनम्र अनुरोध भी हो सकता है। 'hands up' से न मिलाएँ, जो एक आदेश (आत्मसमर्पण, ध्यान) के लिए होता है।
