ハーフィズとは、イスラム教の聖典コーランを全て暗記している人のことです。宗教的にとても尊敬される称号です。

'ハーフィズ'は主に男性向けの敬称で、名前の前につけることがあります。女性には「ハーフィザ」と呼ぶ場合もあり、宗教的な場面に限って使います。
