よく文句を言ったり不機嫌になったりする人。たいてい周りに対して冷たくぶつぶつ言うタイプ。

「grouch」はカジュアルな言い方で、冗談交じりや軽い悪口として使われます。「old grouch」は頑固で不機嫌なお年寄りを指すことが多いです。『Don't be such a grouch』は「そんなにむくれないで」と訳す感覚。
