ऐसी रोशनी में चमकना जो गीली या चमकदार लगे, अक्सर नमी या चिकनी सतह से प्रकाश के कारण।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Glisten' आमतौर पर वहाँ इस्तेमाल होता है जहाँ कोई चीज़ पानी, पसीना या किसी गीली चीज़ से चमकती है ('glisten with sweat', 'glistening eyes'), और इसका भाव काव्यात्मक होता है। 'Glitter' (कई बिंदुओं पर चमकना) या 'shine' (आम चमक) से न मिलाएँ।
