किसी चीज़ को, खासकर लिखी हुई सामग्री को, जल्दी से बिना गहराई से देखना या पढ़ना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आम बोलचाल में इस्तेमाल होने वाला वाक्यांश, जब आप किसी रिपोर्ट, किताब या ईमेल आदि को बस सतही तौर पर देखते हैं। 'glance through' में गहराई नहीं होती, 'skim' या 'browse' से भी कम ध्यानपूर्वक।
