Definition
কারো প্রতি কঠোর বা আক্রমণাত্মকভাবে সমালোচনা বা কড়া কথা বলা। কখনও কখনও শারীরিকভাবে আক্রমণ করাকেও বোঝায়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
মুলতঃ কথ্য মার্কিন ইংরেজি। সাধারণত ভর্ৎসনা বা তিরস্কার বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, কখনও মজার ছলে শারীরিক কঠোরতা বোঝাতেও। ব্যবসা পরিচালনার অর্থে নয়।
