यह वाक्यांश औपचारिक और अनौपचारिक दोनों परिस्थितियों में इस्तेमाल होता है। 'get the word that' (कि ख़बर मिलना) आम है। इसे 'spread the word' (खबर फैलाना) से न मिलाएँ।
