Definition

誰かのために何かを手に入れたり、買ったり、持ってきたりすること。相手が使う目的で行う。

カジュアルな会話でよく使う表現。誰かに頼む時などに使う。「get for」のような英語の順序ではなく、「人のために物を買う／持ってくる」と訳される場合が多い。

Can you get some bread for me from the store?
