"gatherers" in Japanese
Definition
自然から食べ物やものを集める人や動物のこと。特に、農耕や狩猟をしていなかった歴史上の集団について使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
多くの場合「狩猟採集民（hunter-gatherers）」という歴史的なフレーズで使います。現代の日常生活ではあまり個人に対して使いません。「gathering（集会）」や「collectors（コレクター）」とは異なります。
