Definition

ধূমায়ন হল বিশেষ ধোঁয়া বা গ্যাস ব্যবহার করে ঘরবাড়ি বা ফসল থেকে পোকামাকড় বা ক্ষতিকর জীবধারা নির্মূল করার প্রক্রিয়া।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি সাধারণত পোকামাকড় নিয়ন্ত্রণে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং সাধারন কথোপকথনে খুব কম ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'fumigation process', 'require fumigation', 'post-fumigation' বাক্যাংশে দেখা যায়। 'spraying' (তরল প্রয়োগ) এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
