凍傷

Definition

とても寒い場所に長時間いることで、皮膚やその下の組織が大きく損傷すること。主に指やつま先、鼻、耳に起こりやすい。

主に医学や寒冷な環境で使われます。「hypothermia」（全身の低体温症）とは違い、手足や耳など体の一部だけに使います。例えば「指が凍傷になった」のように使います。
