"fight against time" in Japanese

時間がほとんどない中で、何かを急いで終わらせようとすること。主に緊急や切迫した場面で使われる表現。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「時間との戦い」は話し言葉やニュースでよく使われ、フォーマルな文章ではあまり使われません。「時間と競争」も同じ意味で使えます。緊急時や期限のある仕事に最適です。
