主に映像・音楽制作の場面で使われ、『fade in music』『fade in シーン』の形で用いられます。日常会話ではあまり使いません。

The movie starts with the music fading in slowly.

映画は音楽がゆっくり**フェードインする**ところから始まる。

The lights fade in as the curtain opens on stage.

カーテンが開くときにライトが**フェードインする**。

The image will fade in at the start of the presentation.
