Definition
Aparecer o volverse visible de manera gradual, especialmente en audio o video cuando una imagen o sonido se vuelve claro poco a poco.

Se usa principalmente en cine, TV y producción musical para describir cómo una imagen o sonido aparece suavemente. Lo opuesto es 'fade out'. Raramente se emplea fuera del ámbito audiovisual.
