'Fabricating' 多用于正式、技术或法律场合。日常对话中常指捏造谎言或证据。常用搭配有 'fabricating evidence'（伪造证据）、'fabricating a story'（编造故事）。不要和 'manufacturing' 混淆，后者多指生产实物。
