Definition

正確に測らずに、目で見てだいたいの量や長さを判断すること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

くだけた言い方で、料理や日曜大工でよく使う。「just eyeball it」は「だいたいでやって」の意味。'eyeball'（目そのもの）とは別語。
