تقدير شيء بشكل تقريبي فقط بالنظر إليه ودون استخدام أدوات للقياس.

تعبير غير رسمي؛ يستخدم غالباً لتقدير الكميات تقريباً خاصة في الطهي أو الأعمال اليدوية. لا تخلطه مع 'eyeball' الذي يعني كرة العين.

He eyeballed the length of the table before cutting the wood.
