逃れる逃げ切る理解できない

Definition

何かや誰かが、努力しても捕まえられない、見つからない、理解できない、達成できない時に使います。

抽象的なもの（例：sleep, success）が得られない場合や、誰かが捕まらない場合によく使います。ややフォーマルな表現です。

The thief eluded the police for weeks.

その泥棒は何週間も警察から**逃れた**。

Sleep eluded me last night.
