Definition
এফেন্ডি ছিল অটোমান সাম্রাজ্য ও মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের কিছু অঞ্চলে পুরুষদের জন্য সম্মানের উপাধি, যা 'স্যার' বা 'মাস্টার'-এর মতো।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'Effendi' এখন বাংলা ভাষায় সাধারণত ব্যবহৃত হয় না; এটি কেবল ঐতিহাসিক প্রসঙ্গ বা সাহিত্যে দেখতে পাওয়া যায়। কথোপকথনে সচরাচর ব্যবহার হয় না।
