ちょっと立ち寄る家に寄る

Definition

あらかじめ連絡せずに、短時間だけ知り合いの家や場所に立ち寄ること。

友達や家族の家に行くときによく使うカジュアルな表現。ビジネスやフォーマルな場面では使わない。'drop by'も似ているが、'drop over'は自宅への訪問を強調。'drop off'と間違えないように。

I'll drop over after lunch.

昼食後に**ちょっと寄るよ**。
