'Discontented' সাধারণত ফরমাল বা সাহিত্যে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং দীর্ঘস্থায়ী অসন্তুষ্টি বোঝায়। প্রায়ই 'with' শব্দের পর ব্যবহৃত হয় (যেমন 'with life', 'with job')। এটি 'রাগান্বিত' চেয়ে কম তীব্র, এবং 'অসন্তুষ্ট' থেকে একটু বেশি সূক্ষ্ম। ব্যক্তির মেজাজ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
