Normalmente se refiere a la luz o colores que pierden brillo, ya sea automáticamente (como al atardecer o con regulador) o intencionalmente. Se usa en sentido literal y a veces figurado, como en 'dimming hopes'. Muy común: 'dimming lights', 'dimming memory'.
