Definition

デカールは、壁や車、窓、ノートパソコンなどに貼ったりこすったりして転写できる装飾用のシールやデザインのことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'デカール'は装飾用で、半永久的なものが多いです。'car decals'や'wall decals'のように使われます。普通のシールとは違い、水や熱、圧力をかけて貼ることが多いです。趣味や装飾に使われ、フォーマルな表現ではありません。
