Definition

「亡者」とは、死んだ人々を表す古語や詩的な表現で、現代ではほとんど使われません。

現代日本語では使われず、古い文献や詩にしか出てきません。「the dead」を使うのが一般的です。人間にのみ使います。

The poem spoke of the deads from the great war.

その詩は大戦で亡くなった**亡者**について語っていた。

Legends say the voices of the deads can be heard at midnight.
