少し濡れた状態、または感情や興奮などが抑えられたり弱まったりしたこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
布や地面など物理的に濡らす場合と、気分や感情を和らげる・下げる意味で使う。'dampened mood'は気分が沈むこと。 'wet'より軽い濡れ方。
