কঠিন বা বিপজ্জনক অবস্থায় দায়িত্ব না নিয়ে দ্রুত পালিয়ে যাওয়া বা নিজেকে সরিয়ে নেওয়া।

অফিসিয়াল নয়, কিছুটা নেতিবাচক। কোনো সমস্যার সময় শুধু 'cut and run' করলে অবহেলা বোঝায়।
