「Cur」指沒有特定品種的狗，通常是雜種狗或流浪狗。有時也用來侮辱人，指壞心腸或膽小的人。

「Cur」在現代英語口語中很少見，多用於文學或古典語境。用來罵人時語氣很重。現在形容狗多用“stray dog”或“mutt”。
