主に美術館や博物館などの専門的・フォーマルな文脈で使われます。「museum curators」「art curators」などの表現が一般的です。近年はデジタルコンテンツ管理者にも使われますが、フォーマルな印象が強い言葉です。「conservator（修復家）」とは異なります。複数形。
