「cranked」はハンドルやレバーを回す意味、または俗語でとてもテンションが高くなった状態を表します。

「cranked the engine」はエンジンを手で回す意味。「cranked up the music」は音量を上げる意味。スラングではテンションが高すぎる時に使う。「cranky（イライラ）」とは違うので注意。
