自宅と職場などを毎日行き来する人々のこと。たいてい電車やバス、車で通勤します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に仕事や学校のために毎日移動する人を指し、観光客や偶発的な旅行者には使いません。「朝の通勤者」や「毎日の通勤者」などの言い回しでよく使われます。フォーマル・インフォーマルどちらでも使われます。
