Definition

প্রথমে পিছিয়ে পড়লেও পরবর্তীতে সেটা কাটিয়ে উঠে শেষ পর্যন্ত জয় বা সাফল্য অর্জন করা, সাধারণত খেলা বা প্রতিযোগিতায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে ‘come from behind’ খেলার বা প্রতিযোগিতার প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়; হতাশা, ব্যর্থতা বা ঘুরে দাঁড়ানো বোঝাতে জীবনের ক্ষেত্রেও ব্যবহার হয়। 'Recover' বা ‘regain’ থেকে বেশি তরল ও প্রচলিত।
