スパイククリート（金具）

Definition

スパイクはスポーツ用シューズの裏についた滑り止め、クリートは船でロープを結ぶための金具を指します。スポーツやボートに関連して使われます。

スポーツ用シューズは「スパイク」と呼び、ボート用金具は「クリート」と表現します。「clip（クリップ）」や類似語と間違えないようにしましょう。

Soccer players wear special shoes called cleats on the field.
