食べ物を音を立てて強く噛む、または噛みしめること。人や動物が夢中で食べている様子を表すことが多いです。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
カジュアルな表現で、動物や人が勢いよく食べる時によく使われます。「chomped on ...」は「...をムシャムシャ食べる」の意味です。うるさく食べる時にやや迷惑が含まれる場合もあります。
